Maria + Chris have my favorite “meet-cute” –ever– out of all of my couples.

For those of you that don’t know what a meet-cute is… it’s the scene in a romantic comedy where a future romantic couple meets for the first time in a way that is considered adorable, entertaining, amusing, or zany.

These two… met on… wait for it…
Tinder!
And I love that about them! I got a real kick when they told me that’s the reason why their first date was on a public park bench– not only are they attractive but they’re smart too! 🙂

What I love so much about this is…
It highlights their sense of adventure.
Their ability to take chances and step out of their comfort zones.

And that’s what life is all about, isn’t it? Taking chances. Having fun. And all the while.. never knowing when your meet-cute is right around the corner.

The other thing I love about these two… is they won my heart…
By telling me where the closest local gourmet donut shop was after our shoot.
Stan’s Donuts… love at first bite!

Looking forward to photographing their wedding this year in Springfield, IL— aannnnnnnd the donuts at their reception!
